| Those who qualify for Open Hand meal programs are never charged a fee. Ours is a mission of neighbors helping neighbors, and we rely heavily on community support to help fund our programs. Gifts to our Annual Fund are tax-deductible and are appreciated in any amount to help fund the daily expense of preparing, packaging and delivering more than 5,000 meals.
As a donor to the Annual Fund, you will enjoy recognition in Open Hand’s annual report, special discounts off official merchandise, opportunities to purchase tickets to exclusive fundraisers, and quarterly updates from the Open Hand team on our progress. All levels of giving benefit the clients we serve. A gift of only $25 provides four healthy meals for one of our clients.
Remember, independent nonprofit watchdog Charity Navigator once again awarded Open Hand its coveted four-star rating for sound fiscal management. 89¢ of every dollar donate goes directly to provide services to our clients, and donations are tax-deductable.
