December 8, 2011

Thank you to Grape Crush Productions and Bloomingdale’s for donating a portion of the proceeds from all four Chefs in the City culinary celebrations to Open Hand!

We look forward to seeing what Chefs in the City will be cooking up in 2012!

December 3, 2011

Thank you to Damsel Productions, a non-profit organization that consists of some of Atlanta's best female independent musicians and performing artists! They were kind enough to host a fun-filled evening of performances to raise awareness and money for Open Hand community nutrition programs!

November 16, 2011

Thanks so much to Wired & Fired and Murphy's Restaurant for another successful Empty Bowl Project!

Despite the rain, the restaurant was buzzing with those who had purchased bowls from Wired & Fired and were enjoying a wonderful luncheon hosted by Murphy's, with proceeds being donated to Open Hand.

There are still some bowls left if you'd like to drop by Wired & Fired to purchase one.  Who knows, there might even be a celebrity bowl or two left?

October 27, 2011

Thank you for your support in the form of the thousands of votes you cast for your favorite Man of Style and Substance from the Open Hand nominees: Kris Tubman, Michael Erickson, Tom Murphy, Louis Grabowski and Herb Miller.

And thank you to Saks Fifth Avenue and Men's Book Atlanta, as proceeds from the event along with 10% of sales of the Saks Fifth Avenue Men's Collection from Thursday, October 27 through Saturday, October 29 will be donated to Open Hand.

October 20, 2011

Thanks to Ocean Prime for a wonderful Grand Opening celebration benefitting Open Hand!

Thank you to playwright Natalie Simone, who selected Open Hand as one of the beneficiaries of a portion of ticket sales from the debut of her newest play, “Only God Can Judge Me.”
