Sponsor an Event

Open Hand presents two to three high-profile events each year to raise funds and awareness to support our work in the community. Through event sponsorship, large and small corporations raise their profile in the community by reaching thousands of metropolitan Atlantans. A sponsor’s identity is included on all pre-event promotions, Open Hand’s website, on-site signage, and post-event acknowledgements. Other benefits include VIP tickets, email marketing opportunities and civic pride. Sponsor contributions are essential sources of donations that support Open Hand’s Comprehensive Nutrition Care™ programs.

Available Sponsorship Opportunities

Now in it's 25th year, Dining Out for Life is always one of Atlanta's largest citywide fundraisers. Thousands of people will choose from a list of up to 100 participating restaurants and dine out for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner knowing that a minimum of 25% of their bill will help Open Hand continue to provide over 5,000 nutritious meals each day and empower our friends and neighbors battling chronic disease and disability to help them live healthier, more independent lives.

Dining Out for Life is an international dining fundraising event that is held in 60 cities throughout the United States and Canada. Last year, 100 metro Atlanta restaurants joined together for Dining Out for Life 2016 and raised more than $169,000 to further the mission of Open Hand.

This annual gala is one of the most highly anticipated fundraising events in metropolitan Atlanta.  Guests enjoy an evening of great music, hand-crafted cocktails and exquisite cuisine prepared by many of the best chefs from Atlanta’s finest restaurants. A fabulous silent auction offers an array of items including travel and entertainment packages, fine dining experiences, and many unique items. An exciting live auction will allow guests to bid on a dinner prepared in home by Chefs Kevin Rathbun, Gerry Klaskala and friends, and other amazing one-of-a-kind packages and experiences.

Party in the Kitchen will be attended by over 400 guests representing a diverse and broad cross section of the metro-Atlanta community. A recent study on the demographics of our donors indicates they have high education levels, earn income of 2-3 times the national average, work in executive and managerial occupations, dine at upscale and ethnic restaurants, and travel frequently.  Party in the Kitchen raised a record $650,000 in 2016!
