Clients with an HIV/AIDS diagnosis will need to have a completed Medical Certification form with Medical Provider/Dietitian signature, and must provide a proof of income or no income affidavit to enroll in a meal service program.

Open Hand provides the following programs for qualified clients:

Prepared Meals
Lunch and dinner for 7 days per week, meeting 2/3 of the nutrient needs of an average adult male with HIV; delivered 6 days a week.

Pantry Program
Non-perishable grocery items, supplementing 2/3 of the nutrient needs of an average adult male with HIV; delivered or picked up once a week.

Nutritional Support
Can be included with prepared meals.  A separate certification form is required to apply for Ensure or Glucerna at 1, 2, or 3-month intervals.
